• Theoretical training and test.
• Practical training and test.

Candidates must bring the following items with them to the course:

• Safety Boots/Protective Footwear
• High Visibility Vest/Jacket
• Hard Hat
• A full body harness and a fully adjustable restraint lanyard are also required, however, the trainer can supply these for use on the course if required.

All candidates must read the IPAF Health and Fitness Statement prior to attending the course.

Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.

All candidates must bring with them one of the following forms of ID:

• A valid passport – no more than 6 months out of date
• A valid UK photo driving license - no more than 6 months out of date
• A photographic employee ID card 
• A photographic ID card from an awarding body (e.g. IPAF, RTITB, NPORS)

If this course is eligible for a short course grant, please ensure we have your levy number before the course start date, and your candidates provide their national insurance numbers on the day of the course. Without this information, we cannot claim the levy on your behalf and take no responsibility for the grant not being claimed.
