Health & Safety Awareness Course with a CSCS Operatives Test
Description
This QNUK qualification will provide learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to support individuals carrying out a first aid role in the workplace.
Outcomes / Objectives of the Course:
1.Know the principles of risk assessment for maintaining and improving Health and Safety at work.
2.Know the importance of safe manual handling in the workplace.
3.Know the importance of working safely at height in the workplace.
4.Know risks to health within a construction environment.
5.Know the importance of working around plant and equipment safely.
The Operatives HS&E test is made up of 5TBC questions covering five core knowledge areas:
- Legal and Management
- Health and Welfare
- General Safety
- High Risk Activities
- Environment
Candidates have 45 minutes to answer the 5TBC questions. The test now includes new question styles. Behavioural case studies are also used in the test to check a candidate's understanding of health, safety and environmental issues, and how to behave safely on-site.
Prerequisites
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Exam Information
Theoretical training and assessment followed by CITB HS&E Test.

Dress Code
Please note that the following clothing/personal items are not permitted in the Test Room:
Coats/Jackets/hoodies
Hats and other head coverings (excluding religious headwear)
Watches
Wallets/purses/bags
Mobile phones, hand-held computers or other electronic devices
Personal headphones
Books/notes
Food/Drink
Lockers will be provided to store your belongings.
Materials Required
Course - All candidates must bring with them one of the following forms of ID:
- Signed UK or EEA photocard driving licence
- Signed passport (any nationality)
- Biometric Residence Permit/Card
- Valid EEA Member state photo identity card
- SIA security licence (with photo)
- Current and valid warrant card issued by HM forces or Police (with photo)
- Current and valid Prison service card (with photo)
- Proof of age card showing Pass Logo
- Employee photo identification card
- Firearms license (with photo)
- Prison or probation ID card
