EUSR Utility Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Gas - Remote Delivery
The Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Gas scheme is designed for all persons who require access to operational sites within the gas industry, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.

Outcomes / Objectives of the Course:
- Understanding our workplace responsibilities.
- Understanding the effects of our work on the working environment.
- Identifying and controlling risks.
- Common hazards in the workplace.
- Occupational health hazards.
- Responding to emergencies.
- Highway working and excavations (Gas).
- Pressure regulating installations.
- Module Safety in premises.
Successful completion of a course results in EUSR registration for SHEA Gas, valid for 5 years. Candidates will also receive an EUSR virtual or physical ID card (SHEA Gas) that carries the CSCS Logo.
Prerequisites
This qualification is aimed at those over 16.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
As this course is delivered via remote classroom all learners will need access to a computer with a webcam that has a stable internet connection and can run Microsoft Teams.

Materials Required
Candidates are required to bring paper and a pen to make notes during their training.
Photographic ID MUST be provided as per the EUSR Identity Verification Policy.
